DIVERSE VOLUNTEERS

4,800+ Registered volunteers

After fifteen years of recruiting, P1 Clinic has over 4,800 members in our volunteer pool, including approximately 1,500 patients and over 1,000 non-Japanese volunteers.

Thanks to our relationships with many medical institutions — from private practitioners and local hospitals such as Hachioji Hospital and KKR-Tachikawa, to big-name university hospitals such as Tokai and Keio — we see a steady stream of patients eager to participate.

We also boast the most ethnically diverse volunteer database in Japan, made possible by staff who are native speakers of English, Chinese and Korean, with strong links to local expatriate communities.

Recruiting is conducted through two associations:

P-1 Club for volunteers who prefer to communicate in Japanese, Korean, or Chinese.

Medical Volunteer Network for volunteers who prefer to communicate in English.

Whatever target population you require, P1 Clinic has the networks to bring them together.
